Dr. Stuto teaches residence where he trains resident physicians in foot and ankle surgery. He has also helped prepare candidates for board certification in multiple podiatric subspecialties. The doctor is also affiliated with the NYU, Brooklyn Hospital Center, New York Community Hospital, Mamonidies Hospital, NY Methodist Hospital, and SUNY Bay Ridge.
The doctor's roots are firmly planted in the community. He was raised in Carrol Gardens, attended local schools. He received his undergraduate degree from Long Island University. He has cared for the families of the International Longshoremen's Association. Dr. Stuto also serves as an NYPD honorary police surgeon.

Dr. Stuto is extensively trained in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery, Diabetic Limb Salvage, Trauma, External Fixation, Sports Medicine, Pediatrics, and Foot and Ankle Total Joint Replacements. He has been trained by some of the world leaders in foot and ankle care.
Dr. Stuto is a graduate of St. Francis College with a B.S. in Business Management and minor in both Chemistry and Biology. He is an Honors Program Scholar and a member of the Duns Scotus Honor Society. He achieved his doctorate in podiatric medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, OH. He then completed a three-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency with an added credential in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, NJ.
He then completed an additional one-year fellowship in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery in Newport Beach, CA. Dr. Stuto strives to provide exceptional care to all of his patients and believes it is a privilege to have the opportunity to do so. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Ainehsazan graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island, a major hospital in southern Brooklyn providing care to approximately 900,000 NYC residents. His residency training provided Dr. Ainehsazan with a uniquely busy inpatient and outpatient experience encompassing a diverse patient population, exposing him to a wide variety of conditions in podiatric medicine and surgery. He has extensive training in wound care and limb salvage.
Dr. Ainehsazan is Board Certified by The American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is an active reader and learner who keeps up to date with the latest treatment methods and techniques related to podiatric medicine and surgery. He has a particular interest in research and has been a coauthor in several publications in reputable scientific journals. He has been the recipient of multiple awards.

Steven L. Stuto, DPM

Dr. Steven L. Stuto completed his podiatric surgical residency at University Hospital, Newark, NJ and a Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Health San Antonio.
His extensive training is focused in sports medicine, pediatric trauma and foot disorders, diabetic foot and ankle surgery with emphasis on traumatic and post-traumatic injuries, flat foot reconstruction, elective forefoot and rear foot reconstruction, arthroscopy, soft tissue coverage of the diabetic foot and ankle, and Charcot reconstruction.
He is actively involved in student and resident education and is participating in multiple publication projects.
